The Board of Directors of Saint John Airport Inc. announced the election of the Board’s new Chairman, Wayne Power. Mr. Power has served as a Board Member since 2006, as a nominee of the City of Saint John – one of twelve Members who are nominated to the Board by various community stakeholders.
Mr. Power is currently a Vice President at J.D. Irving, Limited and brings extensive global and business leadership experience to the Board, having also held numerous executive roles with Owens Corning in both Canada and the USA.
Mr. Power reports that he is looking forward to working with the regional stakeholders, the business community as well as the Board of Directors and Airport President & CEO Bernard LeBlanc and his team, to ensure the airport moves aggressively forward to meet the needs of travellers in southern New Brunswick.
