The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to International Trade Day on June 2 in Ottawa.
This year’s event will focus on Canada’s trade relationships with its two leading trade partners—the United States and the European Union. Panellists will discuss what must be done on Canada-U.S. border, energy and regulatory policy to make trade with the United States smoother for Canadian companies, and what needs to happen to get a successful Canada-European Union trade agreement to the finish line.

International Trade Day will include a luncheon featuring a keynote address by Gary Doer, Ambassador of Canada to the United States of America, and David Jacobson, Ambassador of the United States of America to Canada. Ambassadors Doer and Jacobson will discuss the steps that must be taken to strengthen Canada-U.S. relations, including cooperating on building a more efficient border.
