Skills Survey #6: Early Childhood Education Programs

As part of the chamber network’s ongoing consultation on the issues related to skills/competitiveness, we are pleased to be able to provide you with a survey that is appropriate for sharing with your members to gather their input on this important issue under the skills umbrella.

We encourage you and your members to provide feedback on all of our surveys on skills issues. This is the sixth survey we have sought your input on. This short survey (4 questions) focuses on issues relative to early childhood education programs.

A short one-page backgrounder on this topic is available if you wish to include it with your survey communications to your members. Don’t forget, if you haven’t filled out our previous surveys they are still live and waiting for you and your members to comment. The list of previous surveys follows:

Survey 1 on post-secondary education

Survey 2 on life-long learning

Survey 3 on older workers and people with disabilities

Survey 4 on integration services of immigrants

Survey 5 on immigration potential through temporary foreign workers; permanent workers and international students

A reminder: the Canadian Chamber will be holding its third skills-related webinar on May 30 at 1 PM ET (please check your local time zone). This webinar is titled “Connecting Education and Employment”.

Please invite your members to attend this session which will focus on the opportunities and best practices for connecting with educators within your community - whether you are looking for employee training, for an intern or apprentice, or for next year’s talent. Please note that while this webinar is free, participants must register and can do so by clicking here.
