Board of Trade Candidates' Survey Results

The New Brunswick 2010 Provincial Election is well underway with Election Day (September 27th) rapidly approaching. In an effort to provide our members with their candidates’ views and policies on issues of interest to business, the Saint John Board of Trade’s Government Affairs Committee devised a survey for the Candidates in the Saint John area.

The survey, composed of 15 questions, was sent to candidates after the writ was dropped on August 27th. The deadline for the survey was 5:00pm Friday, September 10th. Candidates were informed that only the first 100 words of their responses would be used and the responses would be shared with the Saint John Board of Trade’s members and the media. The responses to the survey can be viewed online and have been arranged in the order they were received.

In addition to the survey, the Government Affairs Committee has arranged opportunities for members to Meet the Leaders. For more information on the remaining events please click here.
